The Museum Kitzbühel is the art navel of the city. Not least because of the fantastic Alfons Walde collection that the museum houses: more than 60 of his paintings can be seen here. On rainy days a good alternative to skiing on the slopes or a hiking trail. The old toboggan and ski exhibits are especially fun!
Art Basel, Art Cologne, Art Frankfurt. Just to mention a few of the fairs that Bernd Maier regularly attends with his contemporary Zeitkunstgalerie. For 35 years the focus of his artistic work has been on positions from Austria, France, England and Germany. And he has been so successful with it that he has opened a second branch at Traunsteinerweg in 2016. A project space reserved exclusively for one artist at a time.
For years Galerie Kitz Art has been promoting contemporary, up-and-coming artists. As part of the Kitz Art Cultural Association, its aim is to promote an exchange between artists and those interested in art. This is successful. In the meantime, Kitz Art has become one of the elementary hubs for art in Tyrol. An artsy place to be!
