Culinary delights in Salzburg

Here you can just take a break from everyday life. There is nothing to stop you enjoying a relaxed brunch in the huge garden with its comfortable deckchairs all over the grass and the wonderful sun terrace. A small oasis close to the city centre!

In the middle of one of the passages of the Getreidegasse you will find the best ice cream in Salzburg – with one special feature: all (non-vegan) ice creams are made from sheep's milk and come directly from the Salzburg area. Just great, that's for sure!

Every Thursday a culinary spectacle takes place around St Andrew’s Church, for which you don't need a ticket: the “Schranne”. At four in the morning, the first stallholders fill their shelves with fruit, vegetables, cheese, bacon, smoked fish and organic bread. The spectacle ends at 1.00 pm. Therefore: come early and taste the whole range of specialities!
