Cultural and culinary highlights in the Mediaquarter

The Biedermeier cemetery is today a public park, in which Wolfgang A. Mozart's first burial place lies before the composer was transferred to Vienna's Central Cemetery.  Here, between ivy-covered statues, lilac blossoms and imposing tombs, it is easy to escape the bustle of the city. 

Not far from the palace of the same name, but on the other side of the Gürtel, you will find the Belvedere's contemporary art collection. The building was originally erected as the Austria pavilion for the 1958 World's Fair; today, the Viennese art scene meets there for the latest exhibitions and parties.

For many who work in Mediaquarter Marx, "The Nice Guys" is the first stop for a delicious lunch menu or after work drink. The word has spread and so it is no longer just the media professionals who make their their way to the charming restaurant in the third district.
