    Tiroler Edles

Julia is a farmer and picks the medicinal herbs for her teas at an altitude of 1,800 metres. Robert Comploj designs glass. The Walde family has been producing high-quality soap for generations. Therese Fiegl collects these noble products and puts them on the shelf in her shop. Be sure to have enough time - the shop won't let you go that fast!

The small shop just around the corner from the Little Golden Roof stands for design, paper goods, jewellery and yoga accessories. And for slow shopping - that's the spirit of the owner, Marianne Ecker. A feel-good shop, ideal for gifts for friends. Or for yourself!

    Bookstore Haymon

Passers-by are quasi sucked into this dark cave at Sparkassenplatz from outside. 7000 books are waiting inside, surrounded by a black backdrop and effectively staged through the lighting. Over a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine in the evening, it is a pleasure to browse through the books!

    Heimatwerk Innsbruck

Tradition and local costume yes, but please not old-fashioned! The dirndl dresses, traditional Alpine jackets and felt slippers in the Heimatwerk are timeless, the quality is right. If traditional Tyrolean fashion doesn’t interest you: herbal cushions, jams, teas and Tyrolean schnapps are also hidden on the shelves!

Innsbruck museums which you should visit

Not always imperial, but always interesting

As a former imperial residence (with a view of the Alps, mind you) Innsbruck was an important location in Austrian history. That's why there is a quasi second Hofburg with imperial apartments - as in Vienna. Especially Maximilian I was delighted with his Innsbruck. So delighted that he also wanted to be buried here: the Court Church is actually only there because of him - however he did not live to see the 40 statues, the "black men", which he wanted to have around his grave. Today only 28 remain. Rich ones too.
