The Schauspielhaus Graz is a fixed point at the annual award of the Austrian "Nestroy" theatre prize and has been nominated and received awards again and again in recent years: for the best performance in the provinces or for its actors and young talent. Whether opera, operetta, musical or ballet and choral singing, the opera stage in Graz at the Kaiser-Josef-Platz has room for everyone. In addition, it is repeatedly nominated for international opera awards and many Austrian conductors and artists started their careers here in the gold-white-red Baroque-Rococo building.
