Salzburg Christmas markets

From 17 November 2022 to 1 January 2023 you are invited to enjoy a snack and a glass of mulled wine at the famous Advent market. Here you can experience the true atmosphere of Advent: angelic choir singing, traditional fanfares from the towers, child-friendly “Perchten” processions and contemplative Christmas readings.
 

On every weekend in Advent, the Herrnhut stars bathe the landmark of the city of Salzburg in a sea of lights. Children’s workshops, trumpeters and Salzburg's delicacies are the special highlights at Fortress Hohensalzburg, which neither young nor old should miss. 
 

The Christmas market at Hellbrunn Palace makes little hearts beat faster. From Christmas train or a Punch and Judy show to Hellbrunn's Christmas angels - no wish will be left unfulfilled here from November 17 to December 24, 2022.

At the foot of the Untersberg you will find peaceful Christmas atmosphere. Not only because of the musical program but also because of the loving selection of handicrafts and gifts, some of which are made by schools, women's organizations and people with disabilities. The Advent Market St. Leonhard takes place on the weekends from 26 November to 25 December, 2022. Also: Its proceeds go to a good cause.
