An absolutely funny and at the same time touching production by the Raimund Theatre! Inspired by the most popular Rainhard Fendrich songs, the musical tells the love story between a Hollywood star and the son and heir to a renowned Viennese Grand Hotel. The story takes place the days before the opera ball and brings both the paparazzi and the Viennese High Society to the stage. Please note that the performance is in German only.
An absolute must-see for all ballet fans! From 16 May 2019 the Theatermuseum, in cooperation with the Vienna State Opera Ballet, will be showing the special exhibition "The Pointe Dances. 150 Years of Ballet at the Vienna State Opera”. The world premiere of the musical, which has attracted over 11 million international visitors to date, took place in Vienna in 1992. Now this musical about the life and influence of Empress Elisabeth returns to its original location for two days. On 5 and 6 July 2019, the musical will be performed in the courtyard of Schönbrunn Palace and will certainly be another open-air highlight. Furthermore there will also be a 10% discount in all Vienna Austria Trend Hotels.

From 16 February 2019, the Albertina will be showing works such as Peter Paul Rubens' Venus and the recently acquired bronze bust of Emperor Marc Aurel in the city where the family lived until 1938. The heart of the show is certainly the world-famous Biedermeier collection.
The artistic achievements of these two have been described as ground-breaking by art experts.
