Therme Wien - Vienna’s Thermal Spa

The sulfuric springs of Vienna, the first of which was discovered as early as the 1930s, are the most effective in Europe. Following the extension of the underground, the Therme Wien is located in the city (almost ;)) and not in the once incorporated suburb of Oberlaa. Here you will find hot water, fitness equipment, spa treatments and a world of adventure for kids who want to let off steam in the water.

Here, around the corner of the State Opera and the Albertina, you can recharge your batteries (with a Viennese melange of course) while looking into the green Burggarten. Those who like it colorful after their coffee break should visit the Butterfly House with its 500 free-flying butterflies right next door.

    Sisi Museum

What would Vienna be without Empress Elisabeth (Sisi)? Although oftentimes she was not at home in the Hofburg, for she was a constant traveler and avoided the courtly ceremonial and Viennese crowds as much as she could. But the Sisi Museum in the Hofburg is nevertheless a beautiful insight into the myth of "Sisi". Virtual tour online
